Pastors Bill and Laurie Willis have been married for 23 years. They share three daughters and four grandchildren. They currently reside in the City of Manistee.

Pastors Bill and Laurie Willis began their journey in ministry in 2000, when they began attending Living Waters Church in Manistee. While actively serving in leadership roles at the church, they also were students of Living Waters Bible Institute.

After several years at Living Waters Church in Manistee, Pastors Bill and Laurie transitioned into leadership at Greater Life Church in Ludington under the covering of Pastors Jeff and Dina Hackert. In the fall of 2005, Pastors Bill and Laurie were led by the Lord to move to Shingle Springs, California to help care for Pastor Laurie’s mother, who had been battling cancer for 12 years.

After the passing of Pastor Laurie’s mother in January 2007, Pastors Bill and Laurie remained in the Shingle Springs area and found themselves becoming involved in leadership at New Hope Fellowship Church in Shingle Springs under the covering of Pastor Jim Wells. In October of 2007, Pastors Bill and Laurie were formally ordained as Ministers of Christian Faith Church International by Bishop Emmanuel Botwey.

In the spring of 2008, Pastors Bill and Laurie sensed the Lord telling them that they had “unfinished business” back in Michigan, and by the summer of 2008, they began making arrangements to return to Michigan. In August of 2008, Pastors Bill and Laurie returned to Manistee to begin a new work. They found themselves holding bible studies out of their home shortly thereafter.

In November of 2010, Pastors Bill and Laurie officially opened the doors of Christian Faith Church International, Manistee. Pastors Bill and Laurie are excited to be part of what the Lord has planned for Manistee and the surrounding communities. God has a plan and a purpose for each of our lives.
